I'm not usually one to advocate much reality TV, but there's one show whose turnout I can't wait to see.
Myq Kaplan is a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing. He tells really funny, smart jokes, the judges seem to love him—and he's vegan.
Veganism is not the focus of his jokes, at least not on the show. He does point out in a joke about chicken nuggets that he doesn't eat chicken, and then gets into other issues, like the country's declining interest in books (unless Brad Pitt is on the cover).
He also talks about the clash between religion and gay culture in a clip that is worth watching in full (it's all of 3 minutes long)—and that has me excited to see what he'll come up with on the final show tonight, before the vote for the winner.
Tune in tonight if you can, and afterward, help him out with a vote!
