Who wants to help supermodels strip down to their natural state? A lot of people, that's who. And 350.org is counting on it--the fantastic climate action organization took a cue from PETA and launched a sexy new ad campaign to raise awareness for global warming. Yes, it features stripping supermodels, so by all means, skip this prose drivel and get on with it:
As the ad briefly explains, 350 is quite possibly the world's most important number (which is why these lovely Manhattan models are willing to shed their clothing for it). 350 parts per million carbon dioxide is the healthy amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere--any more than that and climate change takes effect. We're currently close to 390, and many predictions have us reaching 450 ppm before long.
And so, the 350 campaign was launched to raise awareness, and to help bring the current number down. The group just successfully organized one of the largest worldwide climate events in history, with over 3,000 demonstrations in 180 countries--all in the name of calling for meaningful political and individual action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Which brings us back to the stripping supermodels. If you want to help them get us all back to our natural state (the pre-heavy industry levels of 350 ppm CO2), head over to 350.org, and see what you can help take off.
