Hey guys! Welcome to our little slice in the ever-expanding Green World. I know how cluttered the eco space can be these days, so I hope this column can be a place where together we can filter all that information, tell each other about cool new products, happenings and events and share our journey into a more eco-conscious life.
This column is simple--it's about reviewing, commenting, celebrating, and most importantly, SHARING! I wanted to create a space where there's enthusiastic dialogue between greenies (new and old)…were we can all feel comfortable asking questions and walk away knowing a little more about the consequences (and rewards) of the little decisions we make every day. It's a gathering of really curious, funny, smart, witty people talking about everything from when to flush the toilet to getting your vainest friends to give up their worst eco-vices. It's rants, raves, advice…all of the elements that go into a dynamic conversation about LIFE!
And for me, being "eco" isn't just about putting a bottle into a recycling bin, but it's a choice to try to become better informed about my decisions every day, big and small…and that includes the people that are in my life! I have friends that could break down the economics of alternative fuel markets, friends who don't recycle because it goes against their "design style," and friends with sticky decisions about "green" diapers--all of these points of view make for a full and vivacious "eco-life." I'm sure you'll agree with some of them, and sometimes they'll make you scratch your head, they are a nutty, but loveable bunch...get ready to meet them, because they'll also be contributing to my column here on Planet Green!
I hope that you'll remember to check into the Green Room everyday and let me know if something looks great or just plain wrong…I'm open for improvement! But most of all, I'm asking for your involvement, your stories, your comments, questions and your advice…welcome to the Green Room!
