Though Starbucks successfully creates a caffeine buzz, they haven't successfully mastered the craft of being green--even when easy eco-efforts are right under their java-filled nose. Case and point: The chain offers recyclable plastic cold cups but fails to educate their consumers about them. They've also forgotten to outfit their stores with recycling bins. That's a lot of plastic piling up in our landfills!

Planet Green reader, Rose, couldn't slurp back another Venti latte without doing something, so on Starbucks' reader suggestion site, she put out a call for action asking for store-wide recycling bins and product-based consumer awareness.

Help Rose get her message to the coffee bean big shots by placing your vote here.

Thanks for the tip, Rose!
