The 1Sky campaign advocates for strong and much-needed federal action to fight climate change and to invest in a clean future. Activists have already carried out more than 400 actions around the country since July 4, including a national day of action on August 10 that drew on business and community leaders supporting a clean jobs bill, as well as a week-long effort at the end of the congressional summer recess to build pressure on the Senate to support strong climate legislation.

To date, the campaign has sent more than 20,000 faxes to the Senate and more than 10,000 to the President, but with the future of the clean energy jobs bill uncertain, there's still plenty of work left to do.

Get Involved
Join the 1Sky campaign and the thousands of volunteers already involved. Get active in your own community, call your Senators, and inspire everyone you know to do the same. Grassroots activists have the power to influence Congressmen, who sometimes need a reminder that their constituencies care not only about the future of the planet, but also about what their representatives in Washington is doing to preserve it.

Visit 1Sky.org to learn more about 1Sky's action-packed summer and about what they're still doing to motivate governmental change on behalf of the planet.
