If you haven't been to Oceana's website recently, you're in for a surprise. The Planet Green partner recently launched a brand new design featuring dramatically expanded content and a flashy new layout. Whether you want to explore the oceans, learn to "live blue," or take a virtual trip to some special places, Oceana's new site is for you.

Thanks to a partnership with DK Publishing, Oceana is now featuring special content on sea creatures, ocean places, and the latest and most fundamental science related to the world's waterways.

The new "living blue" section highlights things you can do everyday to help the oceans. Offering everything from a seafood buying guide to creative seafood recipes, Oceana is helping people who love the oceans help keep them beautiful. Take the plastics pledge and then get some inspiration from the Oceana Superactivists.

Finally, Oceana has added a feature focused on "special places" around the world. These places are threatened or in need of aggressive preservation actions. Patagonia and Belize, California and the Arctic, Oceana highlights key ocean regions in need of conservation and keeps you informed with what's being done there.

Far from being a simple aggregation of Oceana-related news, the organization's new site is a destination for ocean activists and concerned citizens. Head over to the new Oceana website and dive in today.
