READ MORE ABOUT:
Books | Paper | Recycling | Trees

While reading books is a wonderful, mind-building past time, reading books that are printed on at least somewhat recycled paper is becoming more and more crucial. Lucky for us, more publishers are swinging this way every day. Books on almost every topic are starting to be printed on more eco-friendly paper. However, I feel like the best win-win situation are books about being green that are also printed in an eco-friendly manner. Here are some personal suggestions for you if you’re looking for a good read that won’t hurt our trees:

  • Cutting Your Car Use by Anna Semlyen. Not only is this a very helpful book about how and why to cut your own car use down, but it’s relatively short and to the point, as well.
  • It’s Easy Being Green by Crissy Trask. This handbook has gotten tons of raving reviews and most people claim it’s much more informative than they expected.
  • The Lazy Environmentalist by Josh Dorfman. This book is all about how you can be more green without exerting all too much energy.

As generic as it may sound, knowledge IS power. The more you know about how to be green, the better you’ll be at being green.
