Global Inheritance
READ MORE ABOUT:
Combine your passion for eco-living with your artistic skills and you may just be able to score tickets to one of the most eco-savvy festivals out there—Coachella 2009.
Global Inheritance’s TRASHed project is partnering up with the music fest for the sixth year in a row to help the artists, venues and fans consume concessions and other concert goodies responsibly through strategically placed recycling bins.
This year they’re inviting artists and aspiring artists to submit their artwork for consideration in designing one of the 24 recycling bins featured at Coachella.
Selected artists won’t only win tickets—they’ll make fame with their newly designed bin and promote responsibility in front of Coachella’s sea of concert goers. Even more, their bin will find a new life beyond the landfill in L.A.’s School District once Coachella ends.
How’s that for inspiring change among impressionable eyes?
E-mail Coachella at globalinheritance.org with a link to your artwork and/or website. Winners will be selected on February 21, 2009. More info here.
