READ MORE ABOUT:
The Forgiveness Project has the mission to open a "dialogue about forgiveness and promote understanding through awareness, education and inspiration." It collects and shares people's stories—see some of them online—and is working toward a future where people turn to forgiveness rather than revenge.
In addition to collecting and exhibiting stories, The Forgiveness Project has outreach education programs both in schools and in prisons, seeking to help prisoners recognize the harm they have caused and look at the relationship between themselves and the victims of their crimes.
In May, Archbishop Desmond Tutu will give the inaugural lecture of what will become an annual series. Til then, read some of the stories, learn from them, and/or share your own. Someone's listening.
