If your child is between the ages of 5-10, he and she are invited to write about their own experiences and ideas in helping to save planet Earth in the I Can Save the Earth Sweepstakes.

Free Books and Planted Trees!

Enter to win: prizes include free copies of the new Little Green Books and trees that will be planted in developing countries by tree-planting advocates Eco-Libris on the winning children's behalf.

Exploring the green scene with your kids should be fun; this simple writing sweepstakes fits the bill with its thoughtful simplicity.

Fun, Engaging and Green

Stories can be submitted via a downloadable entry form up until December 1, 2008. Any story goes and the greener the better!

The contest celebrates the Fall 2008 launch of Simon and Schuster's Little Green Books. According to their press release, Little Green Books is "the first eco-friendly line of children's novelty and storybooks aimed at parents and children looking to learn more about the environment." Added bonus? All Little Green Books are made out of recycled materials.
