If you live in Brooklyn and want to make a green statement, head over to DUMBO’s John and Jay Street intersection this Sunday, May 31. (4 blocks from the York Street F Train Station).

The new Danger Global Warming Project will be there filming a music video that summarizes their mission: to increase climate change awareness through a multi-media rainbow of art, music and film.

Many celebs are backing the initiative including actors Gillian Anderson and Casey Affleck, artists Jill Greenberg and Andrew Goldsworty and musicians like Goldfrapp.

By heading out, you’ll not only be showing support, you might land an appearance on screen. Make sure to tote along a potted green plant though. The project is asking folks to donate one to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy as a statement to create more carbon dioxide-minimizing rooftop gardens.

Thus in artsy, eco-speak: setting off a "green bomb!"

Click over to the project’s MySpace page and official website for more info.
