It’s easy to think the economy if affecting us on an individual level—we’ve either lost a job, a retirement stash, or are just barely skimming by.
Whatever the case, it sucks. But it sucks universally, too. Organizations that have set out to do some virtuous green good, have also been hit—which narrows their chance of actually effecting change. Whether we like it or not, money matters.
With this in mind, Derek over at Natural Papa teamed up with some fellow bloggers to initiate a fundraiser that’ll help out two worthy charities out of the five that they’ve selected: Sustainable Harvest, Kiva, Healthy Child Healthy World, Environmental Working Group and Water for People.
How will they select the final two receivers?
By turning to us! When you make an oh-so-affordable donation of $1 (yes, one single dollar), you’ll be able to select which charity you’d like to see the money go towards. The top two with the highest votes, will score.
The affordable donation is easy enough, as is the single Paypal click, the hardest part? Figuring out which charity to donate to! They’re all so incredible!
