BoGo Light

Unknown.

For every $25 BoGo ("Buy One, Get One") solar-powered LED flashlight sold, SunNight Solar will donate a second identical flashlight to a non-profit for free distribution in the developing world.

Powered by three standard NiCad or NiMH AA rechargeable batteries, the BoGo is rated to for 750 to 1,000 individual nights of six to eight hours of continuous use each. The solar panel is said to last up to 20 years, charges in 8 hours, and provides four to five hours of illumination per charge. Encased in water- and shock-resistant hard plastic, the BoGo is shaped to fit comfortably in your hand. You also get a night glow strip, so you can find it easily in the dark, as well as a carrying hook for your backpack, wall, or railing.

Plus, you can choose the non-profit your second flashlight will go to. Simply visit the Web site, go to "Choose Where to Give" on the left-hand navigation bar, and then click on "Add to Cart" next to the organization you've selected. The BoGo comes in orange and pink (coincidentally my husband's and my favorite colors, respectively, but I digress). ::Sunlight Solart
