Ask Your Boss For EZ Pass

If you're traveling a lot in the Northeast, You Might As Well Have EZ Pass

Do you a lot for work? If so, think of all of the times you find yourself collecting toll tickets. You can waste a lot of time, especially in the northeast, stopping to collect toll tickets and paying the attached fines. Time, however, isn't the only thing you're wasting. Every time you take a toll ticket, you're wasting paper that really doesn't need to be wasted. Now think about how many people travel through toll booths each day. We're talking about a lot of wasted paper.

If you're traveling a lot for work, particularly in the northeast, talk to your boss about getting an EZ Pass. You'll have the opportunity to travel through toll booths without having to stop if you get one of these handy EZ Passes. This will save you time, sure, but it will also save you from being a part of the paper waste that comes along with physical toll tickets. On top of that, you'll be saving the additional gas required to facilitate all of that stopping and starting at toll booths and saving on gas is part of the eco-approach to driving. Some toll booth lines become incredibly long and gas is wasted by every motorist waiting in those lines. The beauty of the EZ Pass line is that the waiting portion of being tolled is avoided.

Of course there is something to be said for the plastic that makes up the actual EZ Pass. It takes a lot for me to want to support the production of plastic, but if you truly are traveling the northeast a lot, the production of one small plastic item in your lifetime (don't lose it!), should outweigh the amount of paper wasted in a lifetime on toll tickets.

Having an EZ Pass is a hassle-free way to travel through densely-tolled areas and you very well may find that your boss will totally support the prospect of giving you one. Your travels will be made easier by doing something good. It's a win-win situation, right?
