Every year, bloggers around the world come together for one day of organized action. This year, the issue is climate change and you can help.

The easiest way to get involved with Blog Action Day is to contribute to the cause through your blog. If you don't have a blog of your own, but you feel passionately about the issue, this might be a good time to start one. It's a quick and free process.

If blogging is not for you, there are several other ways to get involved. The organizers of Blog Action Day have listed thirteen fun ways to take action that don't require your own blog. Highlights include Tweeting for the cause, registering for 350.org's day of action, and joining the Causecast community.

Blog Action Day is an opportunity for people around the United States and the world to make their voices heard. With such a combined action, there is a chance that people will influence the COP15 meeting and draw the strong action that is needed to avert climate change disaster.
