Total Wrecklamation Episode: Something Old, Something New

Wed Jan 07, 2009 01:00 PM ET

Homes slated for Jodi's auctions are sometimes filled with “gems,” while others are loaded with more contemporary features. Jodi has her sights set on a Lincoln Park home in north Chicago that has both. Some highlights include wrought iron stair rails, wooden newel posts and oak flooring. Jodi hopes the brand new kitchen and 800 square foot sunroom will entice buyers with more modern tastes to bid because everything has a story. Through reuse bidders will be making something old into something new, which ultimately keeps items from the landfill.

Remodeling? Can't tell the difference between trash and treasure? Don't miss Jodi Murphy salvage home after home on Planet Green TV's Total Wrecklamation
