Host John Bell is a celebrated carpenter and avid sportsman who loves gourmet cooking, architecture, and the great outdoors. He also holds an undergraduate degree in from University of Western Ontario, a broadcast diploma from Fanshawe College.
John has worked as a weatherman and sports anchor (Global TV), as a design assistant and carpenter on the home makeover series, Colour Confidential (W Network), and even on the big screen in the sci-fi thriller Earth Storm.
When he's not on location for World's Greenest Homes, John is busy with a wide variety of carpentry projects, as well as project managing renovations and new construction builds.
