About your Host: Emmanuel Belliveau

Emmanuel Belliveau

Kelvin Jones/Planet Green

Emmanuel Belliveau's knack for transforming dated objects into modern classics landed the designer a successful television career, where he brings his sleek sensibility to hands-on remodeling projects. When he's not hosting World's Greenest Homes, he's hacking through walls, re-tooling old furniture, and renovating homes for his design business.

Emmanuel tried a number of trades before submitting to his lifelong passion for architecture and design. Once he gave in, his career took off as Emmanuel honed his creative instincts while working on an international set of projects with Vancouver-based firm FNDA Architecture. There he learned all sides of his trade and refined his distinctive personal vision while collaborating with top-tier professionals on commercial and residential buildings at home and as far afield as Dubai.

Emmanuel first encountered the world of sustainable design while working on a project for his highness the Aga Khan. His appreciation for natural beauty as well as the beauty of a wonderfully-built home makes him the perfect World's Greenest Homes host.
