AKASHA RICHMOND - Akasha Richmond is the healthy chef to the stars, spending nearly 20 years creating vegetarian and vegan recipes for her famous clients. As the chef and owner of Akasha - one of the most eco-friendly restaurants in Los Angeles. The restaurant is made of various recycled building materials, the furniture is made of organic leather and hemp fabrics, and even the menus and to-go products are biodegradable. This goes along with Richmond's food philosophy. She uses organic products with no preservatives and works with sustainable fisheries and farmers. Akasha recently published a cookbook, Hollywood Dish, which traces Hollywood's 100-year obsession with organic foods and health lifestyles.
RICKY SCHRODER - Ricky came to public attention when he debuted as a child actor in the 1979 remake of the film The Champ opposite Jon Voight. The film earned him a Golden Globe award for Best New Male Star at the age of 9. He was the star of the hit TV series Silver Spoons as a teenager for eight seasons, which was his biggest claim to fame in pop culture. His appearance on the hit television series NYPD Blue gave Ricky great notoriety, and his successful acting career continued with recurring guest roles in such hit television series as 24, Strong Medicine and Scrubs. He currently can be seen in The Andromeda Strain, a two-night television event on A&E. Ricky is a supporter of the environmental movement, and he considers himself a conservationist. He believes natural resources must be used wisely, as there is a finite amount. Ricky was named the Colorado landowner of the year in 2000. He was honored for the habitat improvement and protection he implemented on his ranch.
LARRY ELDER - Larry Elder is a libertarian, best-selling author, and radio talk-show host with a take-no-prisoners style. Larry gives reasoned analysis on many of the myths and hypocrisies apparent in the government system, society, and media. Larry Elder has been the host of "The Larry Elder Show" on KABC Talk Radio since 1994, and began a nationally syndicated daily talk show for ABC Radio Networks in 2002. Known to his listeners as the "Sage From South Central," Larry gives insight on the day's most provocative issues. A blend of fiscal conservative and social liberal-with attitude-Elder's libertarian views have fueled controversy and made him one of the most in-demand radio personalities in the country. Larry says global warming is happening, but it is supposed to happen and environmentalists are causing hysteria.
DR. HEIDI CULLEN - Dr. Heidi Cullen is the climate expert and scientist. She is the host of The Climate Code with Dr. Heidi Cullen on The Weather Channel, the first weekly television series to focus on climate issues. She also oversees the content on One Degree, the TWC broadband channel devoted to topics that deal with climate and the environment. Before joining The Weather Channel, Dr. Cullen was a scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the International Research Institute for Climate Protection. She is currently working with the Google Foundation on alternative energy.
BRUNO TONIOLI - Bruno Tonioli is best-known as a judge on both the British television series Strictly Come Dancing and its American adaptation, Dancing with the Stars. He is an Italian-born British dancer and professional choreographer. In the late 70s and early 80s he was a leading dance teacher at London's acclaimed Dance Centre, with a huge following. He is also well-known as a featured dancer in Elton John's I'm Still Standing music video.
