Jeremy obtained an M. Arch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, during which time he was awarded the Haskell Prize for Architectural Journalism. Jeremy went to the cinematic hinterlands of Bulgaria and Romania, art directing movies such as Wes Craven's "Mind Ripper" before co-writing the HBO film, "The Lesser Evil". In 2002, Levine escaped the clutches of Hollywood and opened his own firm: Jeremy Levine Design, which explores the relationship between the built environment and the natural one. He is currently on the board of directors of the Harpo Foundation which supports emerging and unrecognized artists.
