Renovation Nation Episode: Washington, DC—Corking the Kitchen

Boulder, CO: Building a Home With No Carbon Footprint

Team Planet Green

By Team Planet Green | Fri Aug 7, 2009 10:58

Renovation Nation host Steve Thomas visits Washington, DC where he helps a couple install a recycled countertop, permeable pavers and cork floor. The permeable pavers will reduce the amount polluted runoff that reaches local watersheds.

Later, Steve helps a Boulder, CO, couple figure out the recipe for a home with no carbon footprint. They whip up one part geothermal, one part innovation and a lot of solar panels for their new green home.
