Host Steve Thomas travels to Boulder, Colorado where he constructs a backyard greenhouse. All goes well, until Steve and co encounter an actual boulder while putting in the foundation. Once that renovation riddle is solved, an energy-efficient metal roof is installed on the main house.
Later, Steve travels to Houston, Texas and meets the Hedges, the owners of the world?s largest domestic solar array. Steve puts the final solar panel in place and slathers the walls with Venetian plaster, a CO2 absorbing compound that has been around since the Ancient Egypt.
