The green home building movement is unfolding in real time on each hour-long, information-packed episode of Renovation Nation, which answers the burning questions that every homeowner in America has about going green.

What kind of people "green" their houses, and how do they do it? What qualifies materials and projects as eco-friendly? Who is qualified to work on sustainable home renovations? How can I green my own home?

From a brand-new all-green house that is on the market, to an old cottage being greenovated and made new again by Emmy Award-winning host Steve Thomas (of This Old House), each daily episode of Renovation Nation invites serious conservationists and simply curious viewers alike to watch and explore the exploding new movement of environmentally-friendly focused home refurbishing and construction.

Steve brings his 20 years of expertise and experience to bear as he tours factories where manufacturers are creating the next generation of eco-friendly products. He also meets forward-thinking property owners at renovation sites across the country to see these cutting-edge green products at work, and questions homeowners as to why they've chosen to go green—and what that really means.

Every episode, Steve rolls up his sleeves and works alongside homeowners and builders as he explores the coolest design trends and finds the latest in eco-friendly materials while demonstrating the most innovative technology in green home building. Whether a big or small renovation project on a home that is new or old, on Renovation Nation Steve shows viewers just how exciting, interesting, and important it is to go green in their construction projects.
