This Memorial Day weekend, Planet Green is bringing a greener experience to the Indianapolis 500. Via Jumbotron messages at the track, on-air talent will offer race fans tips throughout the day on little things they can do to make a difference
The Indianapolis 500 is going green this year, and there's no reason its spectators can't lead by example. If you're planning to attend the Indy 500 or are going to any live event this year, why not take this opportunity to go green yourself?
Instead of just burning rubber this year, the Indy 500 is putting their torn up tires to good use and instigating their greenest-ever recycling program. We figured we'd get in the spirit and help put you on the fast track towards recycling your tires.
This year, the Indy 500 has a need for green. Don't worry, they'll keep the speed - they're just promoting eco-friendly automotive practices too. And a major one of those is responsibly recycling your used motor oil.
