Having already lived in their house for the past eight and a half years with their nine-year-old son, Paul and his wife Samantha recently had an unexpected addition to their family -- a little girl named Esme. Subsequently, they find themselves with very little room in their two-bedroom house & they need to clear Paul’s boys’ pad in the attic to make room for an extra bedroom.
Paul is the main collector and space offender when it comes to having more than his fair share of the house. He has a large collection of books including the complete works of Terry Pratchett, a collection of retro toys, DVDs, CDs, some sci-fi weekly back catalogues and ample Scooby doo memorabilia.
Paul was nominated by his father who told him that it’s time to grow up and create the necessary space for his own growing family. But it’s not as easy as that – and watching some of his beloved belongings go under the hammer leaves Paul in a quandary as to what to do when the auction ends...
