About Greenovate
Planet Green

Saving over 40% on energy bills while also increasing property value by 25% sounds impossible, but Greenovate shows viewers just how to make this lofty dream a reality in their own households. Each half-hour documentary-style episode follows a new "house-greener" through the steps of learning about and implementing earth friendly property improvements. The homeowners are carefully paired with eco-brokers, "green" home consultants, "non-toxic" interior designers, and other professionals who are all formally trained to go above and beyond their professional responsibilities by offering personalized strategies on how to reduce the overall energy consumption of the household.

Each episode sends the homeowner on a shopping trip that focuses on eco-friendly products. From bamboo floors to solar panels, viewers will learn about the many eco-friendly products available, what their differences are in price and environmental impact from the traditional elements we"re used to, and how they work to promote a healthier environment. From simply switching out a light bulb, to utilizing a unique spacesuit material as home insulation, to painstakingly installing a living roof, all large and small incorporated changes share the same goals of saving the homeowner money while making the property more environmentally friendly.

Whether the homeowners are greenovating to attract high-end buyers or are new parents looking to create a healthier household environment for their babies, all are working towards the goal of becoming more environmentally responsible consumers. Their efforts are not in vain, as each greenovator ends up with the same, amazing result: a less toxic living environment, a more energy efficient household, a reduced eco-footprint, and an increase in property values. It?s safe to say that Greenovate offers viewers the best of all worlds.
