"Go For the Green" is a fun, high energy elimination game show where 50 members of our live audience compete to stay in the game and prove that, like our host Tom Green, they're GREEN too! It's survival of the fittest, and by the end of the show two finalists will face off in a tension filled game to win our grand prize -- a fantastic green weekend getaway.
In Round One, we ask the fifty audience members multiple choice questions, with two possible answers. They each physically head off to either the "A" area or the "B" area to show their choice of answers. Those who get the question correct remain in the game. But those who guess wrong are eliminated. We continue to whittle down the contestants until we have between 8-10 remaining.
Then it's off to Round Two, where every question is do or die -- someone gets eliminated by every question. Our randomizer selects a player, and that contestant gets to hear the category (for example, "Rich Dudes") – he then has the option of either answering the question or challenging another player to answer it. If he answers the question correctly, he gets to eliminate one of the other players. If he answers incorrectly, he's eliminated. And the same happens if he chooses to Challenge another player... his fate is in that player's hands. We'll continue to whittle down the contestants until only two are left.
Then it's off to the Chain Game. In this exciting final round, our two remaining contestants race against the clock and each other. Each contestant has three chances to put seven items in order (chronological, number of, etc.). While the first person is playing, the second person is isolated off-stage. After the first person completes their rounds of the chain game – with their clock ticking away -- we go to a commercial break. When we come back the second person tries to beat the first contestant's score, as the clock ticks down. The winner gets our fabulous Green getaway.
