Are you green to being "green," meaning is this all new to you? In case, it is we just wanted to give you a heads up on the basics.

First, of all I have to warn you not to go over board your first day. Tackle one thing at a time. For example, start with recycling. Do you recycle at home? If not start there! Most of your trash can actually be recycled and your food waste can be turned into compost.

When you shop look for items with less packaging. Plastics are to be avoided in general. The good news is that making these changes actually gets to be fun, I know that sounds super dorky, but when you start doing the right thing for the planet it feels good and you will end up saving a lot of money. Yes, that is right, you will actually save money when you keep it green! So, get started recycling and composting and then we can talk about all that water you might be wasting, don't worry we'll fix that too!

Keep it green!
