about the g word

Planet Green/Stephanie Diani

Being green is no longer just for granola-loving hippies. It's a lifestyle, an attitude, a state-of-mind, and it's shaking up the pop-culture landscape. Forget what you think you know about what being green means and get ready for G Word, an hour-long daily show with six segments designed to give you a whole new way to look at, and love, going green.

Hosted by MTV's SuChin Pak and CBS News correspondent Daniel Sieberg, and supported by amazing activist reporters from all walks of green life, G Word is a fast-paced, energetic and cheeky outlook at eco-consciousness and how we can help create a more sustainable earth, one well-heeled carbon footprint at a time.

G Word is a little bit Jon Stewart, a little bit Access Hollywood and even a teensy little bit Monty Python. You may not be ready to make your own toothpaste, but with just a little help, you could cut your energy bills in half and pocket a little of your own 'green.'

While SuChin and Daniel are in the studio figuring out the big picture, G Word field correspondents are in the action, in the muck and mud and the reality of where green is happening today. Correspondents ask the tough questions, test cutting-edge green gadgets and find out whether any of this stuff can really be used at home.

From green sex toys to manure mansions to what's going on with your favorite green celebrity, each episode of G Word is an entertaining look at the hippest in eco-friendly.
