This morning, more than 30,000 people from across the country convened on the South Lawn of the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll. Featuring such illustrious guests as the cast of Glee, Author J.K. Rowling, and of course the President and First Lady, the primary goal of the event is to bring children to the White House for a day of egg hunting, rolling, dying, and fun.

Manning the "Play with Your Food" station, Future Food Chefs Omar and Ben will work with attending children to create fun and healthy food—learning about smart diet choices in the process.

The chefs will also create a special snack for participants of all ages. In keeping with this year's theme—Ready, Set, Go!—and Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative, the food will be made entirely from organic and locally-sourced ingredients.

Though the White House Easter Egg Roll has been a much-anticipated annual event since 1878, the gastronomic imaginations of Omar and Ben will certainly give this year's celebration an entirely new and unexpected flavor.
