This week, Focus Earth reports on new developments in Obama's energy policy and checks in on the status of economic stimulus. Then, the team reports on the endangered Bonobo ape before Bob Woodruff hosts a roundtable discussion on the state of world primates. Finally, Robert Krulwich dives into the ocean to have a look at the curious cuttlefish.

First, Yunji DeNies reports on Barack Obama's visit to Mexico and then Trinidad and Tobago, where the fifth Summit of the Americas is being held. While the summit is focused on economics and trade in the region, energy and environmental policy will feature prominently on this year's agenda. Focus Earth has an analysis on what the meeting means for Obama's energy policy.

With the deadline for filing federal income tax falling on Wednesday this week, most Americans were scrambling to get their reports, and for many, their payment checks, in to the IRS. In the midst of this rush, Barack Obama gave a "stimulus status check" to let people know how the economic recovery process is progressing. Focus Earth looks at how the stimulus money has been spent on green projects so far.

Then, Dan Harris reports from the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he is following a unique species of chimpanzee called "the Bonobos." They stand out among other ape species because of their ability to diffuse tension and conflict with sexual activity, making them one of the most peaceful species ever observed. Now, these gentle apes are becoming increasingly endangered because they are being hunted for their meat.

The problem is not limited to the bonobos. In a special roundtable, Bob Woodruff talks with Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin about the state of the world's primates.

Finally, Robert Krulwich dives into the ocean to track down the cuttlefish, a curious creature that has become an expert in camouflage. Find out how they do it in this special report.
