You know, having teenagers isn’t easy. And having them at the dinner table can be especially challenging. Now throw in teen-age sisters who never agree on what to eat…..and you’ve got double trouble. Theresa Blackbird is the mother of two teenage daughters with very different tastes. She wants them both to be happy…at least during dinnertime. But she doesn’t want to make herself crazy in the process. So, let’s see if we can we help a hard working mom please both of her very different teens at dinnertime without turning her kitchen into a restaurant.
TIPS:
TUNA
- Tuna is a good source of high quality protein and it contains essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals
- An excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids which are good for the heart and low in cholesterol
- Look for firm shiny flesh that bounces back when touched
SWEET POTATOES
- Teens should include at least 3 good food sources of vitamin B-12 in their diet every day and sweet potatoes are an excellent source of it
