People all over the world love pork. Some of the most flavorful pork dishes come from Cuba, a country known for it's fantastic flavors. I've got a friend who grew up eating great Cuban food, only she skipped out on one major ingredient – the pork! She's never even tried it. Today, we're cooking up some familiar favorites with a new and modern twist. We're meeting Bren, an excellent cook who loves it all – beef tongue, oxtail, you name it. In fact, she's a regular dynamo in the kitchen. But when it comes to making pork, she doesn't know where to start.
TIPS:
- Try bone-in pork chops – the bone keeps the meat moist and tender and adds great flavor.
- Spice up your next mojito by adding passion fruit, guava or even raspberry juice.
