On Emeril Green, Emeril Lagasse's dynamic and entertaining style is set to inspire viewers to conquer their culinary fears and to cook in a more eco-friendly way and with top-quality ingredients that are better for the environment. He began his career working in a Portuguese bakery in Fall River, Massachusetts, attending Johnson and Wales University’s famous culinary program in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduation, Emeril studied the classic cuisine of France and then found himself in New Orleans after stints in New York and Boston, where he became famous for his love of the freshest products.
Lagasse is now the chef/proprietor of 11 restaurants across the country, where he employs cottage industry ranchers, farmers and fishermen for his fresh and delicious food. Emeril constantly invents new recipes, much to the delight of his regular guests and the fans of his shows.
