Most of us know that you are what you eat. But what do you eat if you want to increase your energy level and improve your overall health? Pamela is like a lot of young people today. She wants a high-energy diet for her busy lifestyle, but doesn't know how to take advantage of what's in her fridge.

We'll take her through the day with a breakfast Spinach, Cheese and Egg White Omelet. For a mid-morning snack, try Emeril's Granola Energy Mix. For lunch, a Sicilian Style Chickpea Salad. A pre-dinner Chickpea Bruschetta appetizer, and for dinner, Spinach Cannelloni and an Acai Cocktail.

- Eat things that will give you more energy
- Eat smaller meals throughout the day
- Don't skip breakfast
- Eat at regular times
- Have balanced meals
- Get adequate protein
- Drink plenty of water
