Cooking for company can be a lot of fun as long as you have a plan in mind for a successful meal. Tonight, I'm teaching a good friend how to create a foolproof dinner that looks complicated but in fact, it easy as pie.

We're going to meet Frances, a woman who loves to entertain but so far, hasn't blown away any of her friends with her culinary skills. Together, we'll make a fantastic Sangria, mouth-watering Paella and sensational Crema Catalana.

TIPS:

  • Try making sangria with various seasonal fruits ? like berries, watermelon or even grapes.

  • A large saute or cast iron pan would also work for making paella.
