Today, many grocery stores offer much more than they did just a few years ago. Turkey bacon and whole wheat breads are just an example of the trend toward healthier eating. But what happens if you want to eat healthy, yet get overwhelmed every time you walk through those automatic doors.
Today we'll meet Tom. He wants to cook healthy but with limited time, and poor shopping techniques...he needs some professional help. We'll teach him recipes he can make on the weekend and use during the week in dishes like Turkey Bolognese Sauce, Turkey Lasagna and A Lighter Caesar Salad.
TIPS:
- Grilling is a great way to use under-ripe fruit. The cooking brings out its natural sugars.
- Tubes of anchovy and tomato paste are a great way not to waste the leftovers. Just screw the cap back on and the paste will stay fresh for up to a month.
