Chris "Ludacris" Bridges has grown from a hip hop superstar to a Hollywood film star.

His most recent album release, Release Therapy, won two Grammy's in 2007 including Best Rap Album and Single and sold over two million copies. The 30-year-old entrepreneur put not only his life experiences as an artist into his music, but also his experiences as the CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records, the President and founder of The Ludacris Foundation, and an actor in the Oscar-winning films Crash and Hustle & Flow towards continuing to expand his resume and build upon his already impressive business empire.

Bridges has recently seen major changes in all facets of his life. At his record label, Ludacris has collected a talented and diverse group of artists. The DTP roster includes both R&B, hip-hop, Soul and pop musicians. In his burgeoning film career, Chris has taken home both a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Critics' Choice Award for his performance in Crash and won rave reviews for his recurring role on NBC's highest rated drama Law & Order: SVU. His Ludacris Foundation continues to grow and has raised over half a million dollars towards helping kids to empower themselves. With the success of his duet "Runaway Love" with Mary J. Blige, he received the 2007 Honors Award from the National Runaway Switchboard which showed a 20% increase in calls from runaway teens surrounding his Release Therapy Album. "I'm not going to lie. I've made my share of mistakes," confesses Ludacris. "I know about success, but I also know about failure and having to pick myself up to try again. It's the balance of the two and all of my experiences that become the foundation of both my music and the film and television roles that I choose. It's about making a difference in that person's life who is paying attention to me and I don't take that responsibility lightly."

On Planet Green's new series Battleground Earth, Ludacris teams up with rocker Tommy Lee as they set out on a journey across the country to battle each other to see who can be greener. It's rock versus rap as the two go head-to-head in a series of eco-challenges and learn about reducing their carbon footprint along the way. "I was already aware of some of the 'little' ways to become more environment friendly, but working on this show took my knowledge to a whole different level. I learned so much and am starting to incorporate some of these lessons at home and at the office. I hope that the audience is able to learn about these very important issues and see how much fun Tommy and I had while doing 'green' missions for the different communities that we were able to visit," says Bridges.

Never to stay idle for long, Ludacris is currently in the studio recording his new album, Theatre of the Mind, which drops in the winter of 2008, has opened a new Atlanta restaurant Straits (asian-fusion style menu) this past month as well as created a new website entitled Wemix.com which allows the general public to try their hands at producing and remixing songs via the internet. Chris "Ludacris" Bridges also appears in the indie film Ball Don't Lie (which premiered to rave reviews at The Tribeca Film Festival) and this fall can be seen starring opposite Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson and Thandie Newton in Guy Ritchie's RockNRolla (Warner Brothers Films) and Max Payne (Fox Films) co-starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Beau Bridges and directed by John Moore. With all of his projects up and running, he still takes time to look back at where he has been and staying focused on the future. "I've been very fortunate to work with with some of the best actors, directors, studios and networks," comments Chris. "I will always continue to strive to do better, be better and work on growing as a man, a musician, an actor, an entrepreneur and a father. 2008 has been a great year and I'm looking forward to it getting even better."
