The hard-charging, hard-partying, carbon-laden world of tour bus-living musicians doesn't exactly scream green! Now, Planet Green challenges two icons to join the newest trend in music; going green. BATTLEGROUND EARTH: LUDACRIS vs. TOMMY LEE challenges hip hop superstar Chris Ludacris Bridges and rock god Tommy Lee to battle against the toxic forces destroying Mother Earth as they travel across the country on a 10-episode tour.
Chris Ludacris Bridges has grown from a hip hop superstar to a Hollywood film star. His most recent album release, Release Therapy, won two Grammys in 2007 including Best Rap Album and Single and sold over two million copies. The 30 year old entrepreneur put not only his life experiences as an artist into his music, but also his experiences as the CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records, the President and founder of The Ludacris Foundation, and an actor in two Oscar-winning films.
While rock historians imagine what Keith Moon or John Bonham could have achieved had they not checked out early, another legendary drummer is enjoying a heap of midlife success. Rather than slowing down, Tommy Lee is about to embark on yet another tour with Motley Crue, recently completed a new Crue studio album, Saints of Los Angeles, continues to tour with DJ Aero as one of the world's premier DJ teams, and is also co-starring in BATTLEGROUND EARTH, an environmental-themed reality series that pairs him with hip-hop’s Chris Ludacris Bridges.
Enlisting the help of his posse, aka ecorage, Ludacris taps Willie Box, Sesean Bridges, and Tony 4 IZE Hayes III to help him get to the finish line.
