Cranberries may be in season in Coastal Maine, but in California, it's still pomegranate time. Oregon is plucking apples but in Florida, they're peeling avocados. The world is a big place and that means your local diet is going to be different than someone from a, well, different locale.
Knowing that no one knows what's local and in season in your community better than you, Planet Green is asking for your advice. We want to hear your best recipes utilizing what's locally grown and in season in your home town.
It's ok if you use a couple of pantry items, things like salt and olive oil, but the more local the recipe the better.
Simply write up your recipe and submit it with a photo or two using the linked form. Our favorite recipes will be featured as part of Planet Green's 100 Mile Challenge.
