In order to promote awareness of the plights facing our country's water supply and to encourage and honor those taking an active role in conserving and protecting rivers in their communities, Tom's of Maine has teamed up with American Rivers and River Network to present one enticing contest.
It's a simple, straightforward premise: Make a video documenting your 'river story'—how you're making a positive impact on rivers in your area. It can be anything—cleaning up the river, educating others on the importance of the river ecosystem, etc. Basically, just show off how you're greening your rivers (and here are three places to start). Get creative. If your video is selected, you’ll snag yourself a 2008 Toyota Prius. Pretty sweet deal.
The rules are simple: The video has to be 10 minutes or less, compliant to YouTube submission guidelines, and its file size must be less than 100 MB. Once you have your video ready, log on to the River Stories contest page at Tom’s of Maine's website, and submit away. Videos will be accepted until October 31st.
For all the details go to Tom's of Maine's site.
