Add "citizen scientist" to your resume this spring: Hunt for wildflowers and help scientists identify evidence of climate change. To participate, simply register on Project BudBurst's Web site, note where and where flowers and other plants bloom, leaf, or disperse fruit in your neighborhood, and then enter your observations into the online database.

Over time, this information will give researchers a more-detailed picture of how individual plant species respond to local, regional, and national climate variations, as well as track the longer-term impacts of climate change by comparing the numbers with historical data. ::Project Budburst
