Not all ski areas are created equal. Some ski slopes have a steeper grade. Others have more experienced instructors on staff and others ski areas have prettier views. But, most importantly, some ski slopes are greener than other ski slopes.

The Ski Area Citizens' Coalition grades ski slopes on their eco-friendliness. They use a grade of 0-100. Anything over a 70% is an A. SACC's grading system focuses heavily on a ski area's ability to maintain their lands, whether or not water is conserved and protected, and what kind of energy is used and if that energy is used efficiently.

Without further ado, I bring you the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
