From April 18-20, Earth Day Network, the non-profit that organized the first Earth Day in 1970, teams up with Green Apple Festival to hold eight simultaneous celebrations at landmark locations across the U.S. The free outdoor events will include environmental speakers, organizations (including yours truly-the Planet Green team), educational displays, and big musical acts like Jordin Sparks, the Roots, O.A.R. and Thievery Corporation. Check out your city's page to get the full line-up. It's the perfect excuse to enjoy the spring weather and that which bestows it-Mama Earth!
