Especially with summer almost here, I can't help that I like to rock. A cold beer, an outdoor festival, I can't really think of anything I'd rather do. Well, luckily some of my favorite artists happen to be the greenest including Ben Harper.
He's a musician and an environmentalist who's tour bus is run on biofuel and his home is equipped with solar paneling. His latest CD, Lifeline, comes in recycled packaging and printed with soy ink. He also sells organic bamboo band t-shirts on his Web site.
"We're in the midst of environmental renaissance," Ben says in a video interview over at Sprig.
This summer he's headed all the way up the east coast and then on into Canada for his Relentless Seven Tour. Check out the tour dates here. In August you can catch him at the super green Outside Lands Music And Arts Festival which will be held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on August 28-30.
See his greener side in his three part interview with Graham Hill on TreeHugger:
