I don't normally write about events like this, but this one got me so excited. As a self proclaimed eco-foodie who leans toward natural health, this event has everything I love under one roof. If you're anywhere close to the Atlanta area May 16 and 17, check out the Alive Expo. The event welcomes the whole family to see the best and the brightest in health and wellness from all over the area. The ALIVE! Expo brings together local and national natural product companies, alternative practitioners, chiropractors, health food retailers, and community non-profit organizations.
I simply love these sorts of events because they include all my favorites like healthy chef cooking demos, wine and food sampling, interactive pilates and yoga demos, complimentary health screenings, live lectures, and tons of free samples.
General admission is $10 for adults and kids 16 and under (yes I said 16 not 6) get in free. The event is located at Georgia World Congress Center, Hall C1, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, Ga.
