Isn't technology wonderful? We can connect with people at lightning-fast speeds. We can communicate our ideas and ideals around the world even if no one likes them or wants to hear about them. It's a very egalitarian form of communication. One of the other great things about the internet is that you can use it to donate to charities without leaving your home. You can save the oceans, protect the rain forests and even plant trees. Sometimes you can do it just by pressing a button. Here are 21 environmental charities you can donate to with a simple click.

  1. When you click on this link, you will save .4 sq feet of American wilderness and .05 feet of the Palmyra Atoll.

  2. This link saves 70 square feet of South American wildlife.
