g word slugging it video

It may not sound like a very flattering name but commuters in cities around the country and declaring themselves "slugs." Far from the slimy leaf-dweller you may be imagining, slugs are commuters who take part in a flexible ride-share program that reduces commute times, congestion, and the use of fossil fuels.

In this video from G Word, Jeff Yeager, the Ultimate Cheapskate, investigates this totally free commuting alternative. After a short wait in line he finds a driver who takes him from the suburbs directly into Washington, DC. It is quick, easy, and Jeff even makes some new friends.

Find out more about slugging in this online video from G Word.
