Navigating the financial market certainly isn't easy. Especially if you want to emphasize the greener side of your investments. Knowing where to put your money so it will do the most good for the planet and your wallet is challenging. No one can give you the guaranteed answer you hope to find, but you can at least be pointed in the right direction and get high quality, trustworthy help that will make investing much more comfortable.

Here are some great resources for getting advice and assistance for socially and environmentally responsible investing.

Directories for Finding Advisors and Companies

Green America has a great resource called the "Green Pages" listing—Enter in the type of information you're hunting for, such as green mutual funds or financial consultants, and receive a whole list of names to research.

Similarly, dmoz.org has a directory that lists a wide selection of financial advisors.

American Health and Healing has a smaller directory of many different aspects of green investing, from financial advisors to investment firms, and it provides a great bouncing-off place for research.

Answering Questions

ETHIBEL has a forum where you can find answers and information about socially responsible investing and sustainable entrepreneurship. It is a great interactive resource for learning more.

Finding News

Besides getting investment consultation, keeping up with the latest news also ups your chances of making quality investment choices. Here are a handful of news sources that will help you keep abreast of trends in green investing:
