The ZEM is a Zero Emissions Machine, from a Swiss company of the same name The ZEM Company, they say, "promotes, develops, produces and deals with sustainable mobility systems mainly in Europe, and provides consulting on environment, ecology and sustainability." For the sake of eco-clarity, let's eco-clarify "zero emissions"means.
Other zero emissions vehicles currently on the market include "ordinary bicycles, recumbent bicycles, and other derivatives as velomobiles, cabin cycles, and freight bicycles are probably the most well known zero-emissions transport surface vehicles."
A velomobile is a "vehicle which is primarily pedal (human) powered, and which provides weather protection to permit use in inclement weather." A Velo (no driver's license required, btw) also offers weather protection, a comfortable seat, and luggage space.
So let's keep racking up those zeroes. Happy pedaling...
